🐎 BEUTIFULLY MOVING YEARLING FILLY THAT HAD PEOPLE

"MAD ABOUT HER"!

This super looking yearling filly by Order of St George boasts both pedigree and class.

  • Sired by 2016 and 2017 Champion Stayer Order of St George who has had a very promising start to sire life with his first crop of National Hunt runners Including Grade 2 winner Seo Linn and 142 rated Mighty Bandit.

  • "Pam" is out of an unraced daughter of the 142 rated, 2x grade 2, Grade 3 and Listed winner Pomme Tiepy who was also 2nd in the Grade 1 Ellier Champion Novice Chase.

  • Dam is also half sister to Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 2nd Mortal who was sold for €100,000 as a 3yo.

  • The outstanding Getaway as damsire adds further class to her pedigree.

She was purchased at the Tattersalls Winter Flat and National Hunt Sale 2026 where our bloodstock agent Jerry McGrath was "mad about her" read his comments below.

Jerry McGrath - "Lot 54 from the Tattersalls Ireland February sale was the Order Of St George filly out of a Getaway mare. Getaway is a sire we've had a lot of luck with, with Verdana Blue and plenty of other good mares and I think he's going to be a very good broodmare sire going forward.

This filly, she was born in March, she was the second foal out of a nice mare. The mare was a half-sister to Mortal and out of Pomme Tiepy, a very, very good pedigree. Obviously Gigginstown had Mortal, Willie Mullins had Pomme Tiepy, really nice fillies pedigree.

She was a real active filly. Plenty of signs about her, she had a good walk, very loose trot. She's the kind of a filly that would have been an easy decision for someone to buy her to pinhook her as a three-year-old at the store sales or else to race. She has the kind of profile to do both.

She was a filly we liked as well. Order Of St George doesn't need any introduction, he's a stallion that's really on the up, he's getting point-to-point winners every week and plenty of winners on the track as well.

She's a very nice filly, good and strong for her age, very correct, active and should definitely come to hand when you want her to race in two years' time".

🎓 EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT – THE FRENCH SYSTEM

Currently boarding at Charlock Stud, Northamptonshire, the filly will follow Emris Racing’s French-inspired education system, designed to produce tough, well-prepared racehorses:

  • Primary School (around 18 months): Breaking-in phase

  • Junior School: Continued education following a break

  • Senior School: Final preparation, including a racecourse gallop

  • Graduation followed by a well-earned break

  • Entry into full training at approximately 3½ years old

This method is proving hugely successful on the track, giving horses valuable experience before they even reach a trainer.
