Emris Racing is a proud member of the RSA (The Racehorse Syndicates Association), recognized by the BHA (British Horseracing Authority), ROA (Racehorse Owners Association), and NTF (National Trainers Federation). We adhere to the RSA's Conditions of Membership and the BHA's Code of Conduct for Syndicates, ensuring we comply with all BHA rules on Syndication Management. Emris Racing also holds a Licence to Manage Syndicates and Racing Clubs with the BHA.
Premium and Racing Syndicate members are required to complete and return a share agreement and make the first keep payment, you'll receive a share confirmation letter via email with welcome pack to follow.
Club members will receive their confirmation email and digital photo within 24 hours of purchase.
Lease shares have no-upfront cost and just a low monthly "keep fee" you are entitled to your share of net prizemoney and have the opportunity of owners badges when the horse runs.
Capital shares involve a one-off cost to purchase your share of a horse along with a monthly upkeep fee. You are entitled to all of the benefits of lease shares but also your share of any bonus*, net sales proceeds and breeding rights.

Only Premium Shares and Racing Syndicate members will receive a welcome pack. The Welcome pack will be sent out by post 14 days after your share has been confirmed. Please allow an extra few days for delivery.
Club members will receive an email confirmation and digital photo, If this has not been received within 24 hours please check your spam/junk and contact us.
If you purchase a club share or complete the share agreement in a Premium or Racing Syndicate you can change your mind with written notice within 14 days and and your Club share price/initial keep payment will be fully refunded.
Yes, all horses will be insured against all risks of mortality (ARM), As part of the lease agreement with the owner, and on behalf of the owner.
You can set up a direct debit or standing order for the 1st of every month, which we highly recommend for convenience. Alternatively, you can manually pay each month via bank transfer. We'll provide the bank details once your share agreement is completed. Please remember to include your initials and the horse's "Stable Name" as the reference.
You can also choose to pay 12 months in advance. Making a great gift option.
Where available you can also use the Stripe payment button on the horses page which automatically sets up the subscription payment..
No, payments to Emris Racing don't include VAT. Emris Racing cover any VAT payments on behalf of members and then reclaim it if applicable. This is one of the ways we are able to offer excellent value for money.
Members do not receive VAT reimbursements.
Yes. Following any win there will be an auction where you can bid on the winning prize with 100% of proceeds from the auction going to the Injured Jockey Fund. The Syndicate Manager oversees the auction and arranges delivery of the prize. 'Pattern race' trophies are assigned at the discretion of the syndicate manager (some of these are perpetual and have to be given back to the racecourse.)
Number 1 rule here is do not panic. You can terminate your lease share with 31 days notice without prejudice. You will still receive any prize money won up to the date your share is terminated and Emris racing will look to offer the share to a new or existing member. You will be welcome to rejoin any of our other syndicates or the syndicate you left (subject to share availability).
With capital shares you would be required to sell your share. Emris racing can facilitate this, however, you are liable for the upkeep payments until the share is sold.
We understand that not every foal makes it to the track. Our "school" system aims to give them the best chance. Accidents can happen, which is why we insure all our horses. If your horse never races, we'll try to replace your share with another horse. If none are available, we'll look to purchase another horse, and you'll receive 3 months of free fees. If you prefer not to continue with a different horse, we'll refund 3 months of fees if you've held your share for over a year.
With lease shares normally the answer here is no. However, it has been agreed that 50% of the owners share of any bonus won will be paid to syndicate members within the annual payments each July. This excludes any sales voucher like the IRE Incentive for example.
With capital shares you receive 100% of their share of the owners share of the bonus (Within the annual payment each July). This excludes any sales voucher like the IRE bonus for example.
Yes, we do charge a management fee, which is included in the monthly keep fee. If you'd like a detailed breakdown, just let us know!
