-
Can I have the winners prizes?Yes. Following any win there will be an auction where you can bid on the winning prize with 100% of proceeds from the auction going to the Injured Jockey Fund. The syndicate manager oversees the auction and arranges delivery of the prize. 'Pattern race' trophies are assigned at the discretion of the syndicate manager (some of these are perpetual and have to be given back to the racecourse.)
-
What if I can no longer make the monthly payments?Number 1 rule here is do not panic. You can terminate your lease share with 31 days notice without prejudice. You will still receive any prize money won up to the date your share is terminated and Emris racing will look to offer the share to a new or existing member. You will be welcome to rejoin any of our other syndicates or the syndicate you left (subject to share availability).
-
What if the horse never runs?We aknowledge that this is a risk, not every foal born makes the track. With our "school" system we believe this gives them the best chance. We also aknowledge that accidents can happen that prevent young horses from making it to the track, this is one reason we insure all of our horses. If this event does happen we will look to re-place your share in another horse, If we do not have any available we will look to purchase another horse and you will be given 3 months free fees. You can choose not to continue with a different horse and 3 months of fees will be refunded if you have held your share for over 1 calendar year.
-
Do you charge a management fee?Yes, all syndicates do. The management fee is included in the monthly keep fee, a breakdown of this is available on request.
