Nicky Henderson OBE
Six‑time Champion Trainer Nicky Henderson LVO OBE needs little introduction. His career was built on the strongest of foundations, having served as assistant to the legendary Fred Winter, before establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in modern National Hunt racing. In 1992, Nicky took up residence at Seven Barrows, a yard synonymous with producing elite jumpers and a roll of honour that spans generations.

Across a glittering career, Nicky has accumulated 78 Cheltenham Festival winners, an extraordinary achievement that places him firmly among the sport’s all‑time greats. His early Festival dominance was headlined by See You Then, who completed a remarkable hat‑trick in the Champion Hurdle during the late 1980s.
In more recent years, Nicky has trained some of the most electrifying two‑mile chasers of the modern era. Sprinter Sacre, the undisputed king of his division, and his brilliant successor Altior, both redefined excellence with their relentless dominance. His record at the highest level extends further still, with Gold Cup victories courtesy of Long Run (2011) and Bobs Worth (2013).

The Henderson conveyor belt of stars continues to thrive. The widely acclaimed Constitution Hill, regarded by many as the greatest hurdler of all time, stormed to victory in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (2022) and the Champion Hurdle (2023), and now embarks on a fascinating rebranded flat campaign in 2026. Other recent luminaries include Shishkin, Jango Baie, Jonbon, Lulamba, and Sir Gino, each adding to the Seven Barrows legacy.

We are truly delighted to have Nicky training for us and look forward to building a long, successful, and exciting partnership.
