Ed Bailey

Ed grew up on the family farm in Herefordshire, where his passion for horse racing blossomed! After an exciting three-year stint as a race rider, he jumped into trading horses for clients. In 2019, the decision was made to sell the beef herd and transform the barns into a haven for horses on breaks from their racing programs, as well as for youngstock. Since then, he has built an incredible network of clients, sourcing horses from sales and privately across the UK, France, and Ireland. The 2022/23 season was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing amazing performances from Ed Bailey Bloodstock purchases, including the Grade 1 winner GOOD LAND and Aintree Foxhunters champion FAMOUS CLERMONT! With a total of 58 winners and a lineup of promising purchases for the next season, Ed's success story continued to soar. The 2023/24 season was yet another triumph, bringing in an impressive 61 winners, including standout graded performers like BRENTFORD HOPE and JUBILEE ALPHA! 2025 also saw some exciting additions to the team including the top 2 lots at the Cheltenham Festival sale!
