Upton Court Stables

Upton court Stables boast almost 200 acres of quality grassland to accommodate a wide range of equine needs, from raising young stock to providing grazing for older horses, who are resting from their training regimes. Run by our Bloodstock Agent Ed Bailey and his excellent staff they provide some fantastic facilities and the care they provide is as you would expect superb. Formerly a cattle yard Ed's vision has already led to several improvments to suit our equine friends, with 2025 being a year of huge growth at the yard with the introduction of a new 20 stable barn, outdoor arena, 2 furlong round gallop, the addition of further grassland for grazing taking the total amount to almost 200 acres and a brand new "owners room" with fantastic views across much of the facilities.

Upton Court is also where our horses begin their education with our "Primary School" which involves breaking in our horses when they are between 18 months and 2 years old. Upon completion of primary school our horses head back to the fields for a break before starting "Junior School" at around 2 1/2 years old where they continue their education of being a racehorse. Once they have completed junior school it's back to the fields for a break before "Senior School" where their pre training comes full circle and they become fully fledged Emris Racing National Hunt graduates ready for the track. They will take a further well deserved break after graduation before they enter full training.

Upton Court operates an open door policy and alongside our planned syndicate days, members are more than welcome to visit the yard and see their horses on a one-to-one basis, all you need to do is get in touch with our Syndicate Manager and we will make all the arrangements for you.
