Around the yards!

It's been an exciting week.

I forgot to mention last week, last Saturday I took my wife and young daughter to Huntingdon Races. Their Easter raceday is always a really enjoyable day out for the family, especially kids. There is so much on offer there to keep them entertained, including a petting area, which was a particular favorite of my daughter's, lawn games, tractors, inflatables, and live music after the racing. While we didn't stay for the music, we had a very enjoyable time, and well done to Huntingdon for putting on such a great day!

Monday we had a catch-up with Fergal O'Brien and arranged my visit for the following day. The visit was a great excuse to see my sister, her partner, and my niece who live pretty close to Ravenswell, a lovely catch-up and not such an early morning on Tuesday, which I am definitely a fan of! It was great to go to the yard. It had been quite some time since I had been there, so it was nice to catch up with Fergal, Sally, and some of the team. Ferg is looking forward to our 3-year-old filly finishing her pre-training and going into the yard.

From there, I took the chance to pop down to Lambourn and finally meet Katie, David, and of course "Ellie," the 3-year-old in question. She is currently being broken in and is making great strides. She is a very sweet filly who loves a good scratch and cuddle. She is extremely strong and well-built with a huge engine room. Shares are available; see more HERE.

It was a quick trip up from Lambourn to Charlock Stud, with the yards only about an hour apart. It had been my first visit for some time, and the progress the three yearlings have made in that time is huge.

"Pam"
"Pam"

"Pam" has really grown and is now the biggest in the field. It was fantastic to see her sire, Order Of St George, pick up his first Grade 1 winner at Aintree with Storming George winning the Top Novices' Hurdle. We also want to make following the journey of a racehorse's upbringing and education as accessible as possible, and with that in mind, we have moved her over to the club option. You can be a part of her journey for just £60 with nothing extra to pay. The syndicate runs until the end of April 2028. Two years for £60—what could be better? At the end of the term, her syndicate members will get priority to join the racing syndicate when she goes to a trainer. More info HERE.

"Emma"

I have been very vocal about how impressed I have been with "Emma," and she hasn't stopped improving. She is a totally different horse from the one that joined us just a couple of months ago. She has developed to be one of the biggest in the field, from being by quite some way the smallest. Her club is half the size of "Pam's," and you can join her journey for £120 with the same end date. More info HERE.

"Paul"
"Paul"

"Paul" is a funny chap. He has put on loads of condition and is doing really well. There was progress on the cuddle side, and he allowed me to get close, doing plenty of sniffing of my hand. Carla took great pleasure in sending a video of her getting lots of cuddles with him. He is a horse with an enormous amount of potential based on his siblings and pedigree overall. He is our only premium share horse and is available from £58 per month for 5%. Details HERE.

Last week, we also confirmed that we will have a trade stand at Huntingdon for their syndicates' race evening on May 19th. As part of this, we are offering all members a free ticket to a great evening of racing. This is open to every member of every horse, so if you would like to come along, grab yourself a share today.

Until next time.
